Yesterday we finished our last round of the regular season and ended the day with SEC vs.ADD Tchoukball games.  After the morning meeting on the steps, James Carrington engaged us in a brief discussion about gratitude, our word of the day. James talked about how we can show our appreciation throughout the day to our teammates, coaches and the staff at Woodberry, who feed and take care of us. We enjoyed a "sports camp moment" yesterday in hockey between Wake Forest and Notre Dame.  After the third overtime, campers took penalty shots while the entire camp watched the exciting conclusion.  Wake Forest secured the victory, however both goalies received Camper of the Day awards for their sportsmanship and poise. Since the overall season records are established, we will make the Championship brackets for each sport, post tonight, and begin what promises to be an exciting Championship season.  Today campers will compete in individual contests in two sports of his choice for first, second, and third place ribbons.  The contests will test his speed, agility and/or accuracy skills in the following sports: lacrosse, football, track, swimming, golf, tennis, handball, hockey, basketball, softball, and lacrosse. The day will conclude with a campfire, one of our favorite times together.  More pictures will be added to the folder later today.  Please check back later.  Click here for more pictures from 6/27
