Wednesday, June 25

We started the day with breakfast and a camp meeting on the steps. Coach Blundin talked about good sportsmanship.  He shared a story about Julius Erving, his sports hero, who he met when he was about twelve. He explained to the campers how Erving behaved with class and sportsmanship on the court with his teammates and off the court in his daily life. Campers played a full day of competitive games and had some free time to play in the Barbee and watch counselors compete in a basketball game between the ACC and SEC.  The regular season is winding down. We have one more day of games until we head into the championship rounds on Saturday. Campers are excited today to take a break from the camp routine and enjoy a field trip together.
